R53 surging(bucking) at low speeds

Hi! i am having some issues with my 2003 mini cooper s JCW

Please move this if i am not posting in the correct area.

Hi! i am having some issues with my 2003 mini cooper s JCW. I've had it for about 5 moths.
I recently did these modifications to my car: Solid lower motor mount, Sprint booster, 17% reduction supercharger pulley, Detroit tuned bypass valve, Upgraded plugs wires and coil, BC racing coilovers. It is bucking/surging until i get the rpms up high and drive it like a racecar.

Any advice on what is wrong or what to do?

Thanks
-Nick

It might be a t-map sensor....
Please describe more what it is doing....
But first thing I would do us unplug the sprintbooster....simple thing to elimate...if set to to sebsetivr...it can make cars kinda surgy...

You could have the mapping checked/adjusted at your favorite Dyno Tune shop... they can map your car to the latest MODs and make it purrr. (In the South Central PA area I would recommend HELIX over in Philly, they do great Dyno work).

But yes, for quick test unplug the Sprintbooster and see how it runs without it...

Motor on!

Naww...always FIX BEFORE you tune....
With a 17%, car should run fine, no tune...

Back to the op...
Any codes, pending or set?
Is it OK above about 4500? Surgy below...and is it a surge or more of a stutter?
Do check next to the bypass valve....ensue the clips are on right...
The s has a t-map from a r50, using the map only next to the head, and a t-map on the intake...could be a crankpostions sensor...but lack of descriptions and codes make it a wild azz guess......

I'm also having this same issue with my MCSa 2006. Only happens on 2nd gear at medium or full throttle. Everytime on 2nd gear I need to tap the pedal very lightly till it gets to higher speed or simple up shift it to 3rd early to avoid the sudden power surge
