I did the unthinkable...
This was my 2007 Cooper S. Bought it with 59k on the clock. Sold it with 70k.
And it has gone on to its third owner as of about two weeks ago.
Now, instead of the MINI, a Japanese, rear-wheel drive, naturally aspirated vehicle takes its place. I hate to say but I don't know if I will be back in the MINI family. Maybe one day I'll find a deal on an r53 jcw.

Update on the s:
Half of the interior is new!
I got an ap2 center console and all black door panels. I could't pass on the deal. Made a new friend too.
You see before above.
After the console swap:
And I found that the previous owner found it fitting to put wood glue inside the door to hold on the plastic...
And the after of the door panels:
Sorry I don't really have a good picture of what it looks like all together. It was pretty dark by the time I finished swapping everything and cleaning up the wood glue.
I'm considering swapping the seats with somebody who has black seats... but who knows.

Nice ride.
Warning. THE REAR END BREAKS LOOSE at a rate much different then you ever imagined. It's inherent to its own design.
Only controlled practice will allow you too bring it back in line. Otherwise IT WILL come around on you.
Don't ask me how I know >>>>> lime rock park, uphill, tire wall, 100+ mph , nose bent over 4in side wiped out tie rod broken:( >>>>> roll bar and harness. Walked away sad. But 100% ok.

$25k??? Remind me to go to Canada when I'm ready to sell it.

Thank god you're okay. I was well-aware when I bought it of the oversteer issue, but being stubborn and young, I had to see for myself. Spun it the first night I had it on a main road in the city (3am so no cars out- nothing was damaged). Ever since then, I've been learning the car. The most exciting mod for me will probably be wider wheels and stickier tires. $25k??? Remind me to go to Canada when I'm ready to sell it.
