Survey...what type of apparel would you like to see MAs wear?

When you walk into dealership, what type of attire would you like to see MAs wearing? Both for men and women? Regardless of attractiveness...

Pretty much anything as long as it's casual and perhaps one step up from jeans.

I want to be served by someone who looks professional.

They don't need to be in business suits, but guys should wear shirt and tie with well kept / shined shoes. The female MAs should also be dressed well: dress pants or skirt, professional-looking blouse and again, nice shoes / boots.

The whole thing can be toned down a bit on Fridays and Saturdays (business casual).

No dorky uniforms (i.e. MINI golf shirt and khaki pants), or more casual wear (i.e. golf shirts, wrinkled chinos, athletic shoes, etc.)

I want to deal with a professional and want to be treated like one.

I suggest a "man-kini", aka a " borat" outfit.....let's face it....folks are stressed out...by being different...a mini hallmark...you could make stressed out motorists laugh BEFORE THEY GET A CRAZY bill (or a load of BS).

On a more serious note....a Polo shirt with a MINI logo or a clean variation of the mechanics typical outfit would be good....distinctly different from the sales folks to put folks at ease....let's face it...if you are talking to a SA, your new car is either broken or you might be getting ready to pay a bill that STARTS AT $1000+.....
Maybe a nurse with a rubber glove....might be appropriate!!

Hope you smiled....
the Essence of having a MINI is FUN!!

don't care so long as they get the job done right, the first time and keep a realistic cost . The more expensive the uniform the more we got to pay . Cause that cost will be given to the customer.

"Dress Casual". Khaki's (any color) at a minimum. I think they should all wear some type of MINI shirt whether it be a t-shirt or collared shirt so you know they work there. As for shoes, I don't really care as long as they are clean and presentable.

I really like the casual atmosphere of my dealership. It's not pretentious at all and is very welcoming.

I actually really like the casual approach the local dealership takes. Khaki pants, mini Polo shirt, and black chucks for their shoes. I feel for mini the attire is appropriate. For the same owner, at his bmw dealership next door they are dressed much more professionally.

For some jobs uniforms make sense but for a brand that emphasizes uniqueness and individuality it seems hypocritical. Business casual with a helping of personal style please.

The best approach is to keep the look clean and simple. Black top and pants, no jeans and finish it off with a great designed MINI name plate for the MA. Not that it matters but I'm pretty sick of walking into most retail environments and seeing the employees wearing some ridiculous version of a polo or T-shirt. This attire doesn't really make sense in the middle of January in Chicago. These people always find some other layer to apply on top of the polo to keep warm, then the polo is under wraps. This doesn't make sense.

As someone has previously mentioned, MINI might spend more time training their MAs in product knowledge and customer service. These points are much more important to the potential customer that what their MA is wearing.
