Quick! Will these wheels fit in my hatch?

So, before I go and drive three hours to go pick up a set of 18" saleen wheels (no tires), will they fit in my ~*roomy*~ back seat/hatch? 2003 MCS? If all else fails I'm sure the victim..ahem..passenger can hold one of them in their lap. Any help? Thanks!

Get a tape measure and measure 18*2 each way. I'd say it's gonna be a tight fit.

What the heck does Saleen make 18 inch wheels for?

Duh I'm slow, I guess I could have done that without wasting thread space, lol.

I think they were made for new edge SN95 Mustang Saleens. You know, these ones..

Edit, didn't notice these were Cobras until I got off my phone, Saleens:

my narcoleptic boyfriend just messed up one of his wheels tremendously on his fox body falling asleep driving home last night.

Just FYI, I put four 20" (rims and tires) in my wife's 2008 MCS. It barely had room for all that.

Yes I just had 4 17in wheels with tires on my MINI like 3 hours ago. I also had those same wheels with tires plus 4 other tires. Take out the back seats that will significantly increase your space.

I had 16s with snow tires in my R50 with the seats down no problem, didn't even need to put one in the front seat.

Tell your boyfriend to be careful. My brother in law fell asleep at the wheel and went off the road and hit one of those big green telephone boxes. Sadly his stepfather had let the insurance lapse so he was responsible for $40K damage to the very expensive box.

Yep, I'm actually in Safety Harbor, which is a little city maybe fifteen minutes from Tampa. We were going to drive 3/4 of the way to Miami last night but the deal fell through. At least now we can pick some up while we're in Orlando on Sunday. Nice to see other people's experiences with the subject

Holy butts, Porthos, you must be starving your MINI to be getting that much room in there! I actually posted Cobra wheels instead of Saleens but they're pretty similar.

gixxerjasen: I tell him every stinkin time to be careful. Sounds pretty scary. Once he went offroad into a grassy ditch and banged up his side skirts pretty bad. This was definitely the worst one though. He had Mustang Bullitt wheels (if you know what those are, they are pretty sturdy and heavy looking) and he managed to rip a 3" hole in the lip of them. He's crazy.

It was cramped in there because I had to put 2 tires up front and I couldn't put it in 5th or 6th but I was only drving around the corner. But when I just had 4 wheels with tires on them I had more then enough room. But I a have a rear seat delete too.

He doesn't actually have narcolepsy, haha. He got tired while he was driving.

Ahh okay, I understand. Well, tell him to pull over when he's tired, and to keep a bottle of ephedrine or caffeine pills in the glove box.

I think he gets tired because it's such a repetitive thing. He works down 45 minutes away from home, so every day back and forth, back and forth. I told him he needs to change it up a bit, like, stop and walk around a gas station for a little bit, then buy a soda, eat something, etc. When he's gotten pulled over on the way home, that sure wakes him up!
