Added new stripes to my recent purchase of TWISTER #3

 

Looks clean.

 

First snow fly in Central Iowa on Friday. I was gifted a virtually new set of Pirelli Snow Tires in 245/45/18. Had to pick up a quick set of 18" for $200 to get me thru the winter. Little more tread than I would like, but it will work for the winter months. Slight rub in the rear when I hit a large bump but not too concerning. This picture has the old set of wheels and tires in the back which made it sit a little lower than normal.

 

Dig it! Looks good.

 

Though this little car was supposed to be a commuter, I've been fighting off the temptation to modify. Blacked out the wheels and door handles yesterday. Ordered the black- out tape from Outmotoring for the chrome window sill.

 

Gave her a Thule roof rack today.

 

Looks sick! I want one for my r53 but I don't think they make them? do they??

 

I strongly suggest putting more of that color on the car! Mirrors, or scuttles, or wheels, or brakes--something more needs to be that color. It will help tie the whole car together.

 

The MINI factory alien green might match that center stripe.

 

I'm doing rear stripes and beltline this weekend. I'm designing a side stripe now to be cut soon that will bring the 2 blacks and the green down the side.

Thanks! They do, check on Thule's or Yakima's website, and you can get the info on the parts for yours. I believe they are the same parts. As for a MINI OEM one; that's a different story. They make the OEM rack for the R53, too...but it's very different than the R56 rack.

That's one pad you're looking at. The sensor is probably in a different pad. (I know the rear sensor is in the inboard right pad on my car.) The pads do not always wear evenly; mine went to basically 0 miles left when 3 of the rear pads had a ton of meat left on them. But the one with the sensor didn't.

The pins that the caliper slides on may be sticking.

Had the HPFP replaced... My wallet got a bit lighter on Black Friday than I expected.

 

Just received my 23.1lb box of goodness from ECSTuning.

Still accumulating parts for the upcoming wrench session.

 

Just ordered a brand new OEM power steering fan.

Might as well when I replace the leaking hoses...
