Yes, but kind of expensive

Mini-Fini sells this set up. It is very clean and professional looking. However, it is about $350 for the rig AFTER you put down $350 for the Mini-Fini hidden tow-bar. Again, a neat looking rig, but I think I will go with the $30 kit from Auto Zone to plug and fill and call AAA if it is something worse.
Here is a link to the Mini-Fini kit: http://www.minifini.com/ShopDetail.aspx?id=16

Cheers,
Greg

tow bar+rig=$700+wheel + tire=+/- $1000.00. I'll take my chances with my non- runflats, AAA, Slime kit, cell phone, and have a much better ride. I guess just like investing, it comes down to risk vs reward. We're all different.

The MINI Fini stuff is nice, but laughably expensive. $700 and you have to drill holes through your rear bumper?

Mini Do More has a cleaner installation and is $500 cheaper.

The hitch looks like a pretty simple welding job anyway.

I don't think so, reminds me of a Jeep, maybe it needs a vinyl wheel cover with MINI on it or something.

I recomend doing what a lot of small car manufactures are going with. An air pump, can of fixaflat, and plug kit. My '06 Miata just has a kit in the trunk rather than a spare. I just carry an elec. pump and plug kit in the Mini.

Anyone got any comments on how well the various "flat-fix" products work when they've been exposed to freezing temps? Obviously, I'm referring to spray cans or bottles of 'goop', and not to the plug products.

I've had a small pump in my cars before, so other than finding a place to store it, that's not an issue. But I have my doubts that the "Slime" or other products are going to work after being frozen for weeks at a time.

I have an 04 MCS and carry a full size 195 55 16 Spare behind the rear seats, it is strapped in. It sticks up maybe a inch over the middle of the rear seat and you loose the shelf. I do alot of long distance driving and after 2 flats with this car in a 18 Month period, I decided it was no longer a option to not carry a spare, its not the prettiest looking but with the tinted back and side windows you really cant see it from outside the car.

Wow, really? The 335d that I drove did not have one, just a tow hook, screw driver, and an 800 number... here:

Yep, my M Roadster didn't come with a jack either, but it did come with a mobility kit.

I purchased my 2007 MCS used, and it came with a BMW jack. I dunno if it was original equipment, or the prior owner purchased it, but I can say I own a BMW jack.
