What else would you buy?

After having owned a MINI and going into 2010, what would you guys buy if for some reason you were going to trade your MINI in. If you MINI is a daily driver, pick something you could drive every day. If it is a weekend car, pick something you'd drive on the weekends.

Myself, I'd be going for the 2010 VW GTi

Audi R8

We know it'll be QUITE a while until we get another car we really want (might pick up a beater somewhere in-between) but right now the only car we've seriously mentioned is the Audi R8.

honestly i wish i could trade in(not necessary yet) for a brand new r53. i love my car, loves the body of the r53, not sure i'd buy an r56. if i had to choose a non mini it'd probably be a certified used bmw of some sort.

The MINI's paid for so it's not going anywhere but for 2010 I'll take an Alfa Romeo Mito Delta Version with the 280hp 2.0L

We paid a lot less for our Speed 3 than MINI wanted for a new MCS. Like 5 grand less, comparably equipped (the only option we didn't get was navigation). Granted, the Mazda had been on the lot a few months, but it still had less than 100 miles on the odometer. If they had been closer in price, and my MINI dealer didn't low ball us on a trade in offer for our old MINI, I'd be driving a new 2009 MCS right now instead of a 2006 MC convertible.

If I absolutely couldn't have a MINI, I'd probably get a Subaru. We have lots of snow here, and I like the AWD.

Audi R8

If I could ever hit the $#&^% Lotto or *$%#^ powerball I would probably buy an Audi R8. I would still keep my JCW though.

They had one of these on Top Gear, seemed to like it a lot. Excellent for driving down hallways, and actually fits in an elevator.
