Wheel HP/TRQ vs. Flywheel HP/TRQ?

What's the % power loss from flywheel to wheels? If I remember right, it used to be ~40% for a front engine/rear drive layout. Is this % drop true for a MINI?

It depends (and varies) 100% on how you measure it.

And since you can't easily measure power at the crank, it really doesn't matter.

You can measure it off the crank but it has to be before you put the motor in the car or you have to pull the motor out again. And there is averages for the drive train you are driving and I think fwd is like 15%, rwd is around 25%, and awd is some crazy number of 30% or more. But Fwd is the most effiecent cause it doesn't need to go through a bunch of moving parts to get the power to the wheels.
