Go to Killboy.com and search their picture files and I'm sure you'll come up with several ladies on Kawasaki Ninjas.
I grabbed the first one I found without regard to brand so that I wouldn't waste to much time while posting at work.

The best way to deal with friends, who think the MINI is not macho enough for a guy to drive, is to give them a spirited ride on a twisty road. Usually shuts them up.

Mini's were borne to be racing cars that can handle corners like go-carts and always will be. Who cares about what people think, it's about the passion. your love for the car. People who judge the minis probably don't even drive a car and rides the bus or a bike. Or just plain jealous because they can't afford one.

(to answer your question about similar experiences: no. anyone who knows cars knows the MINI is an amazing car. anyone who mocks it ... doesn't know cars.)

Meh,

a chick car = a car that a chick would like to drive.
MINI = cute. Open and shut case.

Driving one as a dude hardly makes you a chick though, is that what you're worried about? I'm fairly sure that the type of car that you drive doesn't affect your gender any more than it affects your sexual orientation.

I don't think this car looks like a chick car, but in a number of years when my daughter turns 16-17, this JCW may be hers.

I don't think mine does either, in fact I've never even gotten a "cute" comment about it. But as a whole, the brand appeals to female buyers much more than, say, a Corvette or a Lotus would.

That's good for us and bad for people who own Corvettes and Lotus' though

Sorry, but that is definitely a chick car. Or at least a gay male car. Nothing wrong with that, of course.

Yes!!!
Not only is it a chick car its a gay car!
MINI is more gay than a Miata!
Trade it in for a Subie WRX or a Honda Civic Si

Might as well drive a top down Miata listening to Aha's "Take On Me" like Corkey Romano

Of course I am looking for a 99 MX-5 10th Anniv Edition

Here is a nice sticker that may apply to both our cars and Miatas.

This is all you need to know.

My buddy bought a Mustang (cough, 6cyl) because he lusted after my modded 5.0, and was mocking me when I switched to an MCS.
A few turns at speed later and he shut right the hell up.

The MINI is this chick's car.

OK, first of all people DO judge you based on what you wear or drive whether you have a "screw them" attitude or not.

My favorite car incident of all time was when a Mazda Miata convertible passed me on the highway. It was white, with big black spots, with a license plate that said "MOO-ATA"...two men were in it, their scarves flapping in the wind. It was so cool. They were making a statement, definitely.

And your MINI does, too.

All the guys who know anything about cars (that I know) are thrilled by the MINI--it's crazy, fun performance. I mean, seriously, the two hottest men on the planet made movies where them driving a MINI was a centerpiece--Matt Damon (Bourne Identity) and Mark Wahlberg (Italian Job). If you have a clue you know this thing is sexy.

I looked at a number of performance cars (sporty and luxury) and they all have something to offer, but the MINI won out. And maybe it was the cutesy/chick factor. Or maybe it's something else.

Chick's car?

I would hesitate to call George Foreman (the pro boxer) a "Chick" or "Gay". I believe either reference might get one flattened into something into something that might fit into the glove box.

So we're unable to call his car a chick car without implying that he's a chick?

"So, that (Camaro, Pick-up, Hummer, etc) that you drive is a MAN's car?"

"Yes, it is."

"Pick up lots of men in it, do you?"

End of argument.
