They're all gay cars too because I like them

But seriously, a car is what you make of it. If you're uncomfortable seeing people driving around in the same vehicle who are different from you, go ahead and get a jacked up Dodge with the testes hanging off the rear bumper and be done with it...though then we'll all know you're just compensating for something else lacking

Easy there on the Dodge's the wife drives a 6.1 Hemi Charger that I bought for her, and considering she use to Model, i dont hink she would have the testes hanging off the Bumper. HA HA

So what you've got then, is a cute fast little chick who handles well?

Hah, well my sister also drives a Hemi Charger. She let me drive it the other day and let me tell you, I think my GTi would spank that thing. Sooooo sluggish. I liked the sound but that's about it.

The Dodge reference was mainly for all the scrawny little redneck guys I see around here who drive lifted pickups. Kinda humorous. The testes just add icing to the cake. I mean for straight guys, why so much interest in balls?

That is funny about the rednecks and pickups, Your GTI must be pretty damm fast cause the 6.1 in our Hemi moves that 2 ton car pretty quick, of course it cant turn for S--t. Now if there are any testes hanging off the rear bumper of my wifes ride, it is cause she ran them over, she has a lead foot and No Patience for anything, and pretty much destroys a car every 2 years or so.

It could definitely be a matter of perception. Big car vs. small car. I know a couple years ago I drive the MINI S I had at the time to a BMW dealership to test drive a Z4 3.0si, and the Z4 felt a little slower by comparison. That was obviously just a matter of perception, because that Z4 should smoke a MINI S! It also could be the whole "in someone else's vehicle and not very comfy" thing.

yup. happens to me all the time. great way to make new chick friends.

Seriously, if you worry about what people think of you based upon what you drive, then you need to work on your self-confidence. While driving a nice car DOES say something, much more is said by how you carry yourself. This is why driving a MINI is so great...it is a conversation starter as much as a status symbol, and it crosses all social and economic boundary's. There are Pizza delivery drivers, college students, union members, layers, doctors, and billionaires...yes I actually know of one...who drive MINI's for fun and for transportation, and we all love it. The love of the car, its quirks, and its unique little characteristics are what bring us all together!!

Yes, sell it immediately and get a Civic SI. Just remember, the height of your ridiculous, primer'ed wing refers to the size of your member.

LOL. Well, if your car is a white convertible with pink stripes, then yes, it's a chick car. If your car is a matt black JCW rat rod coupe, then no, it's not.

Everyone's car falls in between those two extremes.

Let's face it, the MINI is a PEOPLE car, and it really doesn't matter what the "TYPE" of people may be. GO MINI.

My sons asked me about this. But I just told them, "Isn't it all about getting chicks???" If they want to ride in my cute "chick" car instead of someone else's beast, who wins?
BTW, my wife bought me my "chick" car for my father's day present! Ha!

Great point. Young guys think getting girls is about the same thing that impresses other young guys. It is not. It is about understanding and relating to women.
So, while I don't give a crap if the MINI is a 'chick' car, if you want to attract women the MINI is a better choice than a Civic Si or other 'man' cars.
Just my $.02

I figure you have to choose; do you want a lot of guys asking about the car or a bunch of "chicks".
I am now in my mid forties and I have loved all kinds of muscle cars over the years, but the
MINI is by far my favorite.
I also consider the Jeep Wrangler (lifted) to be more of a guys car but yet
there is something sooo sexy with a beautiful woman driving one.
A Kawasaki Ninja is a guys bike but when I see the right women riding one it makes my day.

Here's one I respect no matter what kind of car or color.

Don't paint flowers on your MINI and I think you'll be OK if you don't worry about what other people (morons) think.

That Girl on that bike is a perfect example of form and function, she is a perfect fit on that bike

ha! ninjas are guys bikes? idk about the 250, i have one...its pretty girly(pic in gallery, i look very unexcited...but i do love riding), and seeing girls on bikes makes my day too! haha

as for the mini being a "chicks" car... i definitely disagree... i see men driving them all the time, and enjoying it. my bf loves my car. most of my guy friends dig it...except 1, but hes just jealous.

Wait, the Mini is definitely a chick (or gay male) car, but the Honda Civic is a man car? How so?
