I've fallen asleep many times during extended lunch 'hours' with the front seat reclined 45 degrees or so. I use a neck pillow to help prevent a sore neck and when I wake up, I'm nice and refreshed and ready to motor on. For overnight sleeping, I take my Scion xB. Plenty of room in that toaster.
On my last road trip (two weeks ago, NJ->WI) I stopped twice for naps. It's doable (I just reclined about as far as it would go, probably 45 degrees from vertical) but my neck would have been much happier with a neck pillow. Oh, and I was really cold. I'm getting chills just thinking about it. No, wait, that's the draft from my window.

Yup. Went over my head, too. Sounded like the last guy said "Banhof", but that didn't look like a train station to me.
Depends on where the word is used. Hauptbahnhof means train station. Any other use has a different meaning depending on how it is said and where it's placed in the word.
back in '68. We were tech inspectors at Mid-Ohio racetrack back then. So 4 of us fellas, all at 6' or a bit more, headed down Friday evening in a '63 850cc Mini with our sleeping bags intending to sleep out under the stars.
Those of you familiar with the Mid-Ohio area know that it rains there. A lot. Especially on weekends.
Yep, it rained that night and we 4 had to sleep in the Mini.
My girlfriend slept on our last road trip, going from Buffalo to Massachusetts.
I've had the driver's seat back while parked and could probably sleep, I'm a husky 5'9". The seat goes back a lot farther than in a Mustang convertible.

I've napped in the passenger seat before on a long road trip. It reclines enough. I didn't want to mess up my perfect driving position or deal with unhooking my Schroth. It was perfectly comfortable, but I sometimes nap in my desk chair; feet on the seat, thighs in my chest, arms around my legs, chin on my knees.

I'm not limber nor young enough to do that...

Saying the Mini Cooper is the worst car to sleep in is the equivalent to saying: The bathroom is the worst place to cook.
/thread.
Well, here's something to ponder (and laugh about!). A German RV company called Unicat makes HUMONGOUS off-road RVs. On one model they no longer make, the designers went too far. They tried to squeeze as much into a small space as possible. The bathroom: everything folds up - e v e r y t h i n g. When you open the entry door, you're in the bathroom! The toilet folds up and so does the sink. No tiling anywhere: just stainless steel! The shower head folds away and you tip up the drain pan and it latches to the side. Finally, you can open the other door and enter the kitchen area. The dual booth seating area folds down into a bed and the table swivels to the side to get into the cockpit. The back has a stove, oven, microwave and closet. There's even a frickin espresso machine and no, it isn't the crappy $20 type you find at Wally World. It's a Saeco brand, which is literally the Rolls Royce of espresso machines. No wonder these RVs cost $300,000 and that's before you slap on any options! Unicat is now bringing these monsters stateside with International Trucks providing the chassis so parts won't be a problem. Unfortunately, last I heard, they were fighting to avoid bankruptcy. And yep, one owner refused to part with his MINI. He had an optional ramp on the back. It tilts and a winch is hooked to the towbar. The MINI is towed up on the platform and it tilts back flat. Amazing. Oh and you can get a GARAGE for your ATV. The rear door swings up and a cradle drops down. Sling the chains under the ATV and winch it back up. Close the door and you can take your ATV with you. Now if only they could do that with the MINI.
I really hope that no disaster will occur that would make it necessary to sleep in my MINI. I'm simply too old and stiff to contort my body into a shape that might fit the MINI's shape. If this disaster does occur I hope I have 4 Ambien tablets and a fifth of vodka to ingest prior to attempting slumber.
