MINI mobile assistance roof rack

whatever happened to that mini mobile assistance that some dealers are supposed to have? i read about it in mc2. the car had a roof rack that carries 2 spare tires, like the original monte carlo rally cars. i want a roof rack like that

nobody thinks a roof rack like that would be cool? mount a spare and two driving lights on it? maybe i should go find a custom fabricator for it. how strong are the roof gutters? i was looking at them today and they seem to be plastic, dunno if they're strong enough to mount a rack to

I want one to! It could be a bit shorter than the photo and hold one spare. I like the light kit on the front idea also. A real Monte Carlo rally look!

Looks like the rack utilizes the stock mounting points for the OEM rack which requires drilling into the roof.

I'm pretty sure that it uses the same holes as the factory rack so there is already nuts build into the roof for it. You just have to drill through the outer skin. Not that, that's not scary as hell. But there are templates for the hole locations so it is doable.
