Lately I've done a couple of track days in the new Cooper (Bertie), we both got to MINI Thunder and I made my fast lap. I took Bertie to Laguna Seca at the weekend (Cathy took the JCW). I knocked 0.5s off my best time. (And was faster than Cathy.)
This is my best run at the BMW club's TDS: http://btwyx.com/Movies/BMWTDSPMBest.mov
One of my laps at MINI Thunder (I didn't get my best lap on video): http://btwyx.com/Movies/MINIThunderBest.mov

Glad to see the Justacooper thread lives
Haven't visited this thread for some time. Good to see all the Cooper enthusiasts still engaged. Here's a shout out to Jamesday24...........Haven't seen you in ages. Still can't convince you to come out to an autocross? I am in the process of doing a couple of modifications so I can compete in STF. The HS class has dwindled locally to myself and occasionally one other competitor. That is no fun. Have been running in HS for about 8 years mainly because I didn't want to get into the mod rat race. Hope to have more people running in STF. Whatever, it's always a blast.

Hi Ben,
Good to see you are still going strong!
We still have our '03. Almost 200K mi now. I get to only a couple events/year, with the local PCA group. Like others have mentioned, I have no problem being faster than lots of S's, P-cars and other 'fast' rides.
Wish you the best for this year!
Jack

H Street looks like fun - once the damned snow melts up here.
Last year H Stock had only two regulars in the New England Region (although we did have company for some events, not all).
However Paul Z. and I went hammer and tongs all year - pushing each other to the last run and having one heck of a great battle.
I'm hoping that some of the folks that ran RTF without chassis prep last year will come back to the HS class in 2014 now that the Hoosiers are no longer required.
Cheers,
Charlie
