I went to watch an SCCA Solo event in Chattanooga, TN last weekend and it was quite fun. It actually got me intrigued enough to try it myself. There were 3 MINIs registered, but only one competed. The organizers had warned the participants about the small size of the parking lot, yet there were a few particular large vehicles participating too.
Here are a few pics from the event:
RESIPSAMCS (Len Gregor) and MINIVERN (Ann ) in the foreground as the racers walk the course.
Len Gregor in action with his Cooper S in the Modified Class
This Miata had some fun during the rain :-)
This Subaru Forrester looked great and the driver handled it well
Holy Camaro, lots of power for a very tiny lot.
Len Gregor in his Cooper S corners well.
Very nice slantnosed 914
What is this vehicle doing here? He indeed auto crossed in this 4 wheel steered monster in the tiniest course.
