Trouble finding snow chains

Hey everyone
I just got the All 4 Countryman and was planning to take it up to the snow, but I couldn't find snow chains anywhere. The tire size 205/55 R17 seems to be a rare size that isnt carried by any auto parts store in this area.

Would anyone be able to help? All my searches have come up empty

Thanks in advance

From what I've read on this site Blizzaks are the best in the snow

The 17" all seasons are fantastic in the snow. I live in Central Oregon and it has been dumping the white stuff for the last week and my ALL4 with the all seasons is unstoppable. Save your money.

Thanks for your answers guys. So youre saying I can't put snow chains/cables on my tires even if I found some?

I don't really want to buy snow tires unless I absolutely have to since I live in Orange County, California and wouldn't use them enough to justify the cost.

I agree that the all season tires should work fine under most winter conditions, but on the few days it does snow hard enough in the mountains the highway patrol makes it mandatory to either have chains or snow tires even with the All4

If u read the manual its said that u can put chains only on 16" wheels So if u put them on the 17" there's the risk of ruining something!!

I saw that, but it made no mention of the 17" tires so I was hoping maybe they had not included it by mistake.
Wishful thinking I guess
