r56 GS exhaust options

I'm looking to replace the exhaust this spring, but would like to get one that keeps me in GS. I like the DDMWorks piece, that bolts right up to the factory downpipe, as it's one of the few that is completely a bolt on system (no cutting), but I have a feeling it will kick me out of stock class. Granted I'm sure I still won't be that competitive either way, but in case I do get a win, I don't want it taken away because I have "illegal" exhaust.

Am I stuck with exhausts like Alta's, where I have to cut half the exhaust up and then clamp the aftermarket piece on, or am i good still keeping the first cat?

You have to keep both cats, so you have to cut the exhaust.
