White Grease Leak
Hi guys,
I have a brand new MCS that only has 300 miles and when is hot outside ( pretty much always since I live in Miami ) the car starts leaking a white grease like a white cream from the hood itself.
Has anyone seem this before?

Just be sure to wipe it up if it gets on any non-metal items....I CAN stain plastic if it sits. The car prep centers typically give the cars a VERY HOT wash when they off the ship (the process has changed a bit) but the resulting cosmoline that is collected is used to heat the water to wash the cars...at one point zero plastic was used to cover cars in shipping... think they have started to use some now, but just know that any the remains is acting to prevent corrosion.
Some places sell special cleaners...more for the OCD car detailer type of folks (no judgements here, I WISH I had time to detail my car).....
But wiping it up when cool....then some hot soapy water or even bug/tree sap remover worked for me.

After a few days it will disappear...some cars have leakages...some never...the first couple hot days of the year when a car sits in the sun, is when it tends to happen.
