AC doesnt feel as cold as it seems it should

Has anyone else had this issue?
Our Ac felt good at first but now doesn't seem to get as cold as it was.
F55 with less than 900 miles on the odometer.

Not to say there isn't something wrong with your AC, but if southern California is anything like Florida right now, we are in the midst of a heat wave. The hotter it gets outside, the harder for it is for your AC to get the temperatures low.

Are your windows tinted? Whats the ambient temperature outside? Does it cool well at night? Are you running in recycle mode? If you are really in doubt, I would take a trip to the dealer and have them check it.

We recently had 110 here in Tucson and the ac in my base '13 handled it easily. I suspect a leak somewhere in your system.

I tend to agree something amiss
Sitting in it right now and outside says 88
Inside feels like 100+ on full blast and recirculating.

I was driving another mini last week and it got much cooler. Just rolled the windows down and opened the moonroof and the air coming in from outside is cooler than the air blowing out of the vents.
Right now outside temp shows 89

Yeah, it sounds like a problem. Dealership time. I hate when that happens. But as a mechanic, its not uncommon for vehicle shipping for something to break. That should have been caught on delivery inspection but with AC it could have been as simple as a rock to the AC evaporator and then a slow leak.

Sorry to hear.

Lucky is still at the dealer feeling not so lucky. They can't find the issue. They said it's not a leak and the compressor is working. But the ac is still not cooling.

Did they check the cabin filter just to double check if something blocked it or maybe something. Did you go from recycled air to open air source button on the auto aircon.

Its colder when you pull the air with the recycle.

We checked ALL settings before we took it to the dealer.
They called today and said they are replacing the AC Compressor tomorrow.

Yeah I think a compressor has to be working for the air to get cold lol.

now they are trying to get an engineer out to look at it after reprogramming, verified no leaks, pressure is perfect, amount of freon is right, less than 800 miles on the odometer and they cant get it to cool below 70.

Has anyone else hat this

Has anyone had this issue with their F56 or F55 and know what the dealer needs to do to fix it? As now I was informed that there is a second one with the same issue in their shop and they can't figure it out.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
If we don't get it back by Sunday it will have spent more time in the shop than we have had it since delivery

I have not heard much bout that , just the smell from the interior vent issues for the a/c .

They should run a puma case for you at the dealership.

It's still there. No luck yet. Has been in the shop longer now than we were able to drive it. Now they are working on replacing an expansion valve.

Wife picked it up Friday night they said it was finally working. Saturday afternoon she took it back only blowing outside temperature air again.
It has officially now been in the shop longer than we have owned it.
Very sad because we love this little car named Lucky that so far is not living up to its name.

What Should You Do If You Have a Lemon?

If you are considering making a lemon law claim consider doing the following:

1. Keep accurate records of repairs made and the amount of time you did not have your car or consumer product available for use.

2. Contact the dealer or manufacturer directly indicating you are considering making a lemon law claim.

3. If you have questions regarding your state’s lemon laws, contact your state’s attorney general’s office.

4. Consider having a lemon law lawyer review your case. Most case reviews are free to the consumer.

Noted. The thought has crossed our minds. Haven't hit that 30 day California mark yet. About 6 or seven days to go. I have a file with all records going and a notebook with notes of all conversations as well.
