Thanks for the pictures! But, I am not feelin all that red, too much for me. And, I think if that particular car had the black R112 wheels it would look alot better. Some of your photos have red color line, and with piano black dash, and some red dash and dark grey color line. I would prefer CF dash with red color line. But to each his own!

bruno, me too. With the change in the Mini rear fog light shape, much larger and just different from before, I wonder just how they manage the rear fogs in the Aero package.
Not a big one for stripes, but that red outlined black stripe on the hood, no make that, bonnet looks fantastic. And, love the Chili Red everywhere, especially in the interior. Glad mine is on order. Wish that I could have afforded the $2k for the seats, but what the heck.

Looking at that Mini Connected, I'm think that maybe that wouldn't be a bad addition to my build. Have to cut a couple of other options, like Xenons, but if nothing more, the speedometer looks cool. And, you get the bluetooth and arm rest with it. have to do a reupholstery job on the arm rest though, as that gray just doesn't make it with a red and black interior.

That black car looks fantastic. I'd say it's the best-looking MINI yet.
I'm curious -- in the image that shows the array of colors available with the red roof, there is a light grey or silver. What color is that? The MINI U.K. configurator doesn't show that color available (whether it's Pure Silver or something else), and from what I've read the only grey or silver available in 2011 is the new Eclipse Grey (presumably the darker, almost ruddy grey in the bottom of that same image).

I guess it's possible that the colors in that image are the other way around: that the top image is supposed to be Eclipse Grey and the bottom is supposed to be Velvet Silver, and they just missed the boat (by a long way) on both colors. The bottom one looks very close to Eclipse Grey, though, to me.

Here are the new colors:
And the color line that is said to be dark grey above, is Carbon black actually.
There are better pics of the eclipse grey in this tread:

White Silver will be available also with red roof in the US, not in the UK though where that color is not an option. That is the color of the Camden.

BRG ll JCW
JCW Joe: As for myself, I think that the BRG ll with the Red roof and mirrors comes in no. 2 in the looks department for going together. Maybe I'm crazy, but I like it. Some that I have shown this combination say it looks very European. But it does look different. I thought that I would like the Greys in the Red roof, but to me they just don't look right. The Pepper White isn't all that bad, either. Hey, it's something we've been asking for, to differentiate the JCW from the MiniS. The Red roof helps. Mini could have done more, but at least this is a try, and it is also something that the earlier JCW's can do to their cars, fairly inexpensively, if they choose.
Something else to consider JCW JOE, this is a British car in its bloodlines. Brits like, no make that LOVE British Racing Green, and now that includes the BRG ll. Saying that, they enjoy puting different colors on their roofs and mirrors. Goes back to the Ralleys of the 60's, where they wanted to be noticed more, so they painted the roofs a different color from the car body. So, fast forward to now. Everyone has asked that there be a way of knowing a JCW from the regular and MCS cars. Chili Red is the most popular color for Mini, so they, probbly thought, why not make a very big difference between the MCS and the JCW by using the Chili Red Roof and mirrors on them. BRG ll was a natural, to them, so that was put in the mix. Blue, it wouldn't work at all, the new Spice Orange, well red is just too close and the rest are grays, black, silvers and then they said, why not with the BRG ll. Even a guy that I work with said that BRG ll with the Chili Red roof looked more European. I, actually had this ordered, but my wife said that I'd get tired of the green. She's the color coordinator in the family, when my order was ditched, I switched to Black. All of this is my opinion, no places to verify, just my opinion.

According to MINIUK site, you can get the black or the white. There was some question in the beginning, whether or not you could get the Chili Red with Chili Red roof, but that has been made public. The configuration should be out this week, so keep looking there. That will show you what is available and what is not. Too bad that you can't get Silver for a roof color. That would be interesting, but then again, there is always the body shop to have it painted whatever color you want. The British checkered top would be interesting too. Anything to separate us from the MCS with the JCW's.
