I'm thinking of selling my 09 JCW factory complete with the Euro JCW Recaro seats (heated). I'm deploying to Afghanistan soon for a long time.
Only mods are the factory racing series Challenge splitter (have stock splitter and spare racing splitter); JCW body kit, alcantara steering wheel, shift boot, CF/alcantara parking brake, KW springs. 7,000 miles. Car is midnight black with white roof w cloth interior (have never used cloth front seats too and OEM "S" body kit). Sport suspension, rain sensor, auto headlights, alarm, chrome line interior, auto dimming mirror, xenons, auto A/C, rear fogs, hifi, white turn signals, cold weather pkg. No stinking sunroof!

If you sell, how would you feel about swapping shift knobs with me? I'll send you my stock S knob, then when you receive send me your JCW knob. I'd pay for the shipping both ways

I don't have the JCW knob...just the alcantara shift boot.

You don't have the red lettering for the shift pattern?
I have the one it came with...not the sweet JCW accessory knob. I'm not parting out anything. But I do have a new JCW Challenge race splitter (requires JCW body kit) and the second generation OEM splitter for the body kit which I'd sell separately. The Challenge racing splitter is hard to find in the US.

No offense intended, your car is very nice, but I don't see anyone paying $33K for a used JCW in today's market climate. Unless you're prepared to take less, or part it out, I suggest holding onto it for now.
Here's my ad if anyone hasn't seen. It will sell, although I'm sure I'll have to sell through eBay or somewhere. Just thought I'd give this forum first dibs.
Before you go, could you share some thoughts? In your thread on the Recaros, the last thing you said was "I'm hoping the Recaros are more comfy than the ones I sat in a the local BMW shop, mounted in a 1 series similar to the tii concept. Those were pretty brick hard as I remember". So how did they end-up feeling?
Also, was there a answer to the passenger-side sensor issue in the end? I didn't see it mentioned in the thread. In the end is it just that the passenger-side air-bags are always on?
thanx for the continued info.

Although they look similar to the Euro spec BMW 1 series accessory Recaros, they are considerably softer. For sure they blow away any OEM MINI seat. They even give considerably more rear leg room!
My BMW dealer at installation had to get software from Munich for the passenger seat so it would work with a US spec car. It wasn't much of an issue for the German dealer, and I have no false warning lights (seat belt and air bag warnings). They work as if the car was Euro spec.
