Questions about buying an 09 JCW

After my 06R53 was stolen, I've been considering ordering a JCW and had some questions for ya'll about this model. I've been to the local dealership, Kohl BMW in Aachen, and was impressed with the comfort of the seats. However, as these were the bog standard seat, can anyone tell me about the "better" JCW seats? Are there factory Recaro seats? I have to say that I was disappointed with the change in the hood/bonnet not being as curvy as the 06s. Now, after playing with the configurator, I was wondering why the Sport Suspension and STB weren't default for a factory JCW? Is there any real difference between the MFSW and the JCW leather - leather/suede wrapped ones? Finally, why are there three different rear spoilers (Default, JCW and the $359 Motoring Accessories one)? Thanks for your time and I look forward to learning more about this car.

Cheers!!

The JCW steering wheel is thicker and has IMO a better feel to it than the MFSW, also you can get the JCW in all leather or leather/alcantra (seude). Alot of JCW owners have asked the same questions about the suspension and all I can say is more money for MINI when you order them, same with the spoilers.

whoa, my R53 '05 was stolen last month. I'm in the same boat as you. I ended up buying an '02 R53 track car modded to the hilt and I'm taking delivery on a JCW Clubman this week as the daily driver.

good luck, get the JCW wheel, had it on my last car and loved it.
