Smoke/Steam from radiator

Hi all. New F55S here, about 650 miles. I drove about 20 miles in heavy rain today. I noticed when I got home and turned engine off, the very front of the car of steaming/smoking. I popped the hood, no smoke from the engine itself, and the temp reading says OK. The smoke seemed like it was coming from the grill (upper grill with red S on it). Can rain get in there and touch the radiator and just cause harmless steam? Car runs just fine, no smells.

I did a search and didn't see anything. Has that happened to anyone here?

Thanks.

Probably just hot engine compartment causing some of the rain to evaporate. Mine does that sometimes, especially if it's a little chilly out.

Driving in heavy rain/through puddles can cause water to splash up onto hot engine components such as the exhaust manifold thus creating steam.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it had to be something to do with the rain hitting some engine component.
