Just Ordered a Mini Yours Cooper F56

Hi All,

I finally got around to placing my order. I wanted something a little more unique so I went for all 5 of the Mini Yours options. With the deletion of a lot of options like the dvd changer, rear fog, smokers pack and homelink for MY2016, I am happy to have slipped in to a 2015. Last I heard my car was in paint.

In summary, I did not get:

JCW Interior pkg Order conflict with Mini Yours Steering Wheel
JCW Door Sill Plates (It has regular door sill plates which are just as good)
JCW Red/Chrome Shifter (It has the regular shifter which is just as good)
Pedal Caps (I may have to add these later)

JCW Exterior pkg Order conflict with Active Driving Assistant
JCW Body Kit (I don't really care either way about this)
Rear Spoiler (I would have got it but only part of jcw ext on base (Optional on S or part of S JCW ext pkg))
Performance Control (This is part of jcw ext on base model (standard on S) and I did want it, but still chose the active driving assistant)

Automatic (Did not want)
Stripes (included but did not want)

Welcome to the club! Looks like a great build. If you have any questions about status of the order, how to track it etc let us know. I'm sure you've seen the sticky post on how to track it once it reaches the port etc. as well as how things work in general, but if not, there's a sticky thread located here:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html

Congrats!

Having had a rental car with Mobileye, the system upon which Active Driving Assist is based, I wish it'd been available when I got my F56

What particular vehicle behaviors warrant that comment?

MSRP was $39,100 (before the LED driving lights)

After discounts and re-applying tax, it was right around $40k

I had them add the LED driving lights to the order after it was submitted, because they just became orderable through VIA. So they could not actually give me a final price on those since they have not done any installs yet (although I feel it should cost the same as the halogen versions since its just a different light not installation).

I love that it has things I have not (nor has my dealer) seen in person yet:

1) Mini Yours Tailored Lounge Leather
2) Active Driving Assistant
3) LED Driving Lights

Congratulations! Very nice build (loaded) and I like the color choice. But wow, $40K! Did you not want a '15 JCW F56? The new JCW is definitely unique, like you wanted, but has better performance.

It has speed limit display, lane departure warning, active cruise control, collision avoidance, etc. it's a worthy option.

That's a record price for an MCS since I've been around! Very nice looking blue color, haven't seen it before. You need some Unionjack (red/white/blue) accessories inside to spice up the black. And a pair of Cocomats on the floor. Every Mini needs a pair of those. Congrats.

No lane departure warning on the MINI's Driver Assist. It also does automatic high beam as well.

Uh, I believe what he ordered was the base Hardtop (model 15MA and as seen in the picture).

I wanted a base. I previously bought a 2006 Blue Base new and had it for 100,000 miles.

Wanted to be more unique so went for a loaded base manual (Most loaded bases are autos)

I don't care that much about the performance the 3cyl turbo is good enough for me. If it's good enough to assist in the i8, then i approve

No LDW,

comes with:

auto high beams
adaptive cruise control
road sign recognition with memory
collision warning with pedestrian detection and auto brake

All camera based

Let me get this straight (correct me if I'm wrong): Base Cooper about $20k. Your car ended up about $41k with an manual tranny? That's $21k in options You da MAN!

Thank you!

And I have already bought a few fun items from ECS (shorty antenna, speedwell fob)

I had to buy the iPhone 6 dock from Germany since ECS didn't carry it. But I will probably have to pick up some cross bars from ECS soon to justify the side rails

Yes, I too thought it was funny that the options cost more than the car. Very Porsche like.

I actually had to sign a separate document that stated I really wanted a loaded manual; They said some people have accidentally ordered manuals because they didn't check off the automatic option- then the people back out.

I have seen a lot of F55/F56s, I have not seen one with ALL the options. Always missing one thing like the homelink, or the nicest seats, or the biggest wheels. I figured what the heck may as well go all in!

As of today, the car is awaiting transport
