FWIW, though they're not orderable yet from MINI dealers, the parts should be $70 for the set or $44.31/ea when they're available later this month (according to my dealer's parts department). Evidently the right turn indicator is available now, but the left has been on backorder for awhile.

Very nice. I like the roof rack and the red pin stripe.

Yikes! $150!

....But I'm told I should have the left side sometime in the next 1-2 weeks or so. I also saw that eBay link...No way I want to spend $150 for a USED set when I can patiently wait for them at almost half the price.

Unfortunately once removed, it's not easy to re-use, so I bought another one. They told me to bring it in at some point for them to correct it, as well as replacing the black panel on the front bumper. I don't have the time or patience to want to wait until the next time I need to take it in to service, and it's about an hour away from me. It was easier to just buy the parts myself - wasn't that much, maybe $65 or so for both parts - and be done with it. I haven't changed the front grille yet, will do it soon, and change the black panel to the new one at the same time. Planning on blacking out the chrome trim around the grille, and matching the horizontal chrome strip with the color vinyl striping I will be adding very soon.

Yea they were not cheap. They did arrive in like-new condition though and shipping was very fast. At the time I ordered them, the parts department couldn't give me a time frame of when they would be available and recommended I just order them from ebay since I needed the red accents to complete my theme. Problems of being an early adopter lol

Took delivery 8/28 and dealer agreed to only remove protective paper since I do all my own detailing and only hand wash. I washed, clayed, washed, sealed, and waxed and will repeat every 6 months with a weekly hand wash. The car is a blast!

New to owning a MINI and new to the site. Had a Ford Focus ST before this and couldn't be happier with the change. Picked this from dealer lot selection, but I'm loving it so much I'm already planning my "to spec" build for the next one . My wife loves it as well, and so do the kids, so it's a win all around.

I had it for 3-4 months and just didn't want to drive it anymore. It handled well and was quick, probably a little better than my MINI in both areas but not by much really, especially considering I have base suspension and 16s with crappy all seasons and the ST had 18s with summer tires, but it just never clicked with me. I enjoyed it when I would get to go to the country roads and get on it, but in all other driving situations I just didn't like being in it. I didn't like the huge dash, the "cockpit" style feel of the front cabin, the interior in general, etc.
I also felt that it suffered greatly from the amount of torque it had while not having a mechanical LSD. The MINI is less powerful, but the power it does have is more usable than what the ST had and you can see it in the comparison numbers. Roughly 65 ft/lbs less torque, and about 60 less HP, and yet it only loses a few tenths in the 0-60 and quarter. The ST also felt heavy to me and I really noticed its 3,200+ lbs when cornering. It was a bit more precise than the MINI despite the higher weight, but the MINI has more of that light, and I hate to say it because it's "cliche" but it's true, "go-kart" feeling and it just brings more smiles to my face. When you add that to the, in my opinion, far and away better interior it's just a more enjoyable car to be in.
The ST is a great car, it just wasn't a great car for me. The above is my opinion after driving one for a few months and I'm sure many will disagree with me, but that's how I felt about it. The MINI with its lower power feels damn near as quick, and despite my particular MINI not being spec'd to match the handling in suspension and wheels/tires, is damn near as good handling. I can only imagine how much better it is with the Sport suspension from the JCW, or the dynamic dampers, and better tires. I'm leasing this time around so I'm not touching the suspension, but I'm definitely getting a set of 17s and sticky rubber for next spring/summer and I think that alone will take up a lot of the minimal difference I see.
Again, the above is my opinion just in case anyone comes in and wants to tell me how insanely wrong I am .

Thanks!!! Decided to give a pass on the stripes; it's sharp enough as is.

Yeah, I was reading a bit about that and I may do that as well since it should be easy to take off when I turn it back in.
No problem at all, let me know if you have any more specific questions about it.
Haha, yeah, it looks that way .
