Any Good Aftermarket 18 Inch Wheel Options?

The one option that my vehicle didn't come through with that I wanted were 18 inch wheels. Unfortunately, buying wheels from MINI over the counter is cost prohibitive.

So, I was wondering if any F54 owners have come across some good aftermarket 18 inch wheels that are MINI specific - i.e. hub centric?

I'm guessing there are little to no aftermarket wheels that offer a MINI specific fitment and rely on centering rings.

Not that there's anything wrong with centering rings, but in my experience it's a sub-optimal fitment.

Some aftermarkets here, NM eng has a good range, if you have JCW brakes there is only a couple that will fit without spacers, most are hub centric and if they are not we include or state with rings you need.

I haven't checked to see if they have any specific wheels, but good chance of it over at TSW wheels. Yes, they use centering rings, no I haven't ever had an issue with using their particular setup. For the price, I always recommend them.

Hey, if I could find a fitment for my 'toy' below, there is likely an option for our F54's.

As it turns out, there are numerous 18 inch aftermarket wheels out there that feature MINI's 5x112 bolt pattern, along with a 66.6 center bore.

A quick trip onto Tire Rack's site gives quite a selection of aftermarket rims to look over, quite surprised at the amount of 17-19" options. Of course, you would need to look at the individual makers to see if they use centering rings or if they are machined to the specific hub diameter. I would have to guess most aftermarket rims, unless they are specific to MINI, are going to use centering rings to allow fitment to more vehicles. Personally, I haven't had any issues with centering rings, but then again, I don't take my vehicles with aftermarket wheels to shops (i.e.- I perform all maintenance myself and pay attention to what I am doing).

Actually, I've come across quite a few aftermarket brands that happen to make wheels which are specific to the F54's center bore.

Yea, its a shared pattern and bore with some VW/ Audi / Merc but you have to check the offset and widths as those wheels tend to have very low ET and much wider wheels then a MINI wheel well can take.

Thanks.

Based on my calculations, wheels that are 8 inches wide with offsets as low as +45 or so should be fine.

BTW, too bad RSe doesn't do the 7 spoke wheel in a fitment for the F54.

I'm running the NM Engineering RSe12 18" Light Weight in gunmetal on my F54 JCW and love them! Direct bolt on, no rings needed and the JCW specific ones clear the new 6 pot Brembos.

Wow, that looks great. First F54 JCW Clubman I have seen with NM wheels, we carry those and they are linked above. Great choice.

It looks so much better in person. The different hues you get in the sun and shade.

Gabe, from Motoringfile, is actually using the same gunmetal ones as the summer setup on the Melting Silver F54 they have on loan from MINIUSA.
