"The calendar serves as an artistic representation of MINIMALISM, the initiative from MINI to increase efficiency and decrease environmental impact. New technological features help to insure that the car consumes only the resources it needs, eliminating the unnecessary and focusing on what's truly important.

We asked MINI Space members to interpret MINIMALISM in an artistic and philosophical way by designing an image for the MINI Wall Calendar 2010. As a special design challenge the artists were required to integrate a MINI silhouette."
