Enabling OBC on 2006 r53

anyone enabled OBC on a 2006 R53? I think it's a software only thing

I was not sure if this is done via ncsexpert or if its an actual retrofit through ista/p

I have been wondering about if enabling the OBC requires the car with certain optional gauges. My 05 has the plain vanilla MCS gauge set.

It will work fine with the standard gauges.

Does OBC stand for on-board computer? What does the OBC do?

I've done it several times by adding the stalk and coding it. But have to have the car here to code it.

HI Wade, got a curly one for you, I have a 2002 with Satnav, satnav has been replaced, and looking at reloacting the Computer from the nav screen, to the Rev counter, I presume its add a stalk and code it to there? Curently there is no display on the LCD screen (ie doesn't light up)
what do you think?
Thanks Brett
