DSC Module in NCSExpert

Has anybody had any luck in reading the DSC module with NCS. I've had no luck at all with different versions of NCS and datens up to 53.3. I'm beginning to think it may only be accessible via MOST/ICOM B and ISIS. Curious about disabling the ELSD either via the DSC module or perhaps by changing the VO when installing a mechanical LSD.

Yes, but you need an ICOM adapter and ITOOL Radar software. After connecting the ICOM to vehicle and your PC, run ITOOL Radar to find it's IP address. In my case it is 169.254.33.45. Next go into your Ethernet port properties and change the TCP/IPv4 settings to this so that you're on the same subnet.

You will then need to edit your Ediabas.ini file so that the interface is set to remote.
;================================================= ============================
[Configuration]
;================================================= ============================
Interface =REMOTE

Then further down in the file you will need to alter the TCP settings as follows.
;================================================= ============================
[TCP]
;================================================= ============================
;RemoteHost = self-assigned ip address
RemoteHost = 169.254.33.45 <<< This IP address should match the IP address of your ICOM
Port = 6801
TimeoutConnect = 2000
TimeoutReceive = 2000
TimeoutFunction = 10000

Now save the .ini file.

Select the ICOM adapter in ITOOL Radar that says "Free" and select Reserve.
Open NCS Expert and connect to the DSC module as you would any other and read it out.

I tried all this and I can download the DSC file from the module and edit it (i didn't change anything), but when i try to program it back to the module it gives me an error and says code faulty.
