Disabling rear assist?

So I've been working on this spare tire mount project and it's almost done. Basically it allows me to travel with a spare tire for long trips, without loosing the trunk space.
More info here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post4089261

I did a first test drive yesterday and all went well, all very sturdy and no noise, except one thing. The rear park assist is picking up the bottom of the spare wheel I think. It makes a constant "Bip" as if I'm right up against something.

Any ideas what I could do? Can the angle be redirected? Or can it be recalibrate ? Or can they be unplugged without triggering a warning ... Can they be silenced all together (I don't need them when "I" am the one that drives ()? Anyone had issues with bike rack for example?

It's a bit annoying so much thanks!

I did some search but I'm finding very little information on this other than putting the sound down which unfortunately is still kind of loud.

I find a few other threads with people using a bike rack but never really any answers short of having the shop disable the rear park assist all together, and which I definitely don't want to do.

So I'm not sure what I can do now

I suspect you can remove the PDC using NCSexpert by deleting a string from the vehicle order.

Wouldn't that be nice . . . I wish I had NCS expert but the more I look at the threads, and how much updates and system requirement there is, the more it looks like a huge investment in time I don't know I have these days
