Bluetooth Retrofit Question(s)

Ok, so I bought: https://www.outmotoring.com/gen-1-mi...in-module.html so I have bluetooth based on the info from the previous owner that I had CD changer connections pre-wired ... naturally I do not. I checked all wiring behind the factory radio as well as the right side of the trunk area (both under the carpet and in the cubby).

After doing a good bit of "oh ****" research I stumbled upon: http://www.installer.com/item/displa...php?it=qcbmw-f ... it appears to be the harness adapter that I need to be able to plug in the CD changer plugs from the previously mentioned item. Does anyone have any experience with this? If I can get away with just a simple $40-50 harness then I'll be happy.

Yeah ... I've been in touch with OutMotoring since my original post. They're going to send me the P-Tap harness. Aaron from OM said that he's never seen a Mini without the CD changer plugs, but I've found numerous threads on NAM and elsewhere that state it's not that uncommon. I'll be digging around in the trunk some more in a few weeks to verify the plugs aren't just tucked up completely un-visible/out of the way. I've already spent about 3 hrs looking for them so I'm fairly confident saying that they don't exist, haha.

Ok, new question. I've got the correct cable and my phone detects the bluetooth module BUT I cannot get anything to play onto the stereo (calls or otherwise). Do I need to get my car coded for a cd changer? I've gone through the Grom Audio install information and it seems that without the CD changer feature programmed into the headunit, nothing is going to work.
