Electrical Has anyone used the BMWhat app for iPhone to successfully code there car?
ElectricalFor discussions regarding wiring up electrical modifications such as radar detectors, brake light mods, power sockets, and driving lights in Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs.
Thanks for the info. There doesn't seem to be any additional options in the BMWhat app to code the analog speedo. I would need NCS to perform that task.
Correct sir. That unfortunately exceeds BMWhat's capabilities at the moment. You might send them an email about it though. They were very responsive when I've requested changes in the past.
Has anyone tried the folding mirrors? Also how about the welcome lights? There is quite a bit listed for the R56 but I'm wondering how much actually works when activated.

Only if you have the folding mirror hardware installed. In the coding, the only option is for folding mirrors with the key fob. That's with the countryman anyhow. There is an option for the welcome lights.
I think the mini coding in BMWhat needs to be developed further. Not to many desirable options from what I can see and in my opinion. And some of the few I'd like that are there, the mini doesn't take to it. I'm going to contact support and see what we can get.
Yes. Getting there. I couldn't wait and went out and messed with it.
-I got both analog and digital speedo to read correctly now.
-Can't remember if it had it before but now you can set when the fuel reserve warning comes on to 6, 8 or 10 liters. I set it to 6. See what happens.
-interior lights with key fob now works.
-start ignition without depressing brake still does not work.

Did you get into the footwell module? I was not able to code it (have not tried the new update yet)..
I guess your car is an auto with the foot on brake to start?
Do you mean the footwell switch for the rear window? I don't have an operational rear window in the R60.
Yes, my mini is an auto which I don't see why that can't be programmed. I will ping them again.
No, the FRM. - The lighting module. I can't get into it on my car... it *should* be codable, but its always grayed out. I can get into the Kombi and the CAS... and do as I please for the most part... (Dash/Comfort Eject etc..)

Ahh yes, I understand now. No, I don't have access to the FRM either. That would be nice to muck around in there as well.
