removing bulbs

hey guys i was able to fit 1156 bulbs in the parking light housing, but now i wanted to switch to LED's and i cant seem to remove them the same way i put them in(forcing it in lol), anyone have any ideas on how i can remove the bulbs? I am afraid that i might grip the bulb to hard and itll break in my hand.

Which lights are you talking about? Do you mean you replaced the parking light 194 bulbs with 1156 (and changed out the sockets)?

g'morning! speaking of bulbs, my left license plate bulb is out - easy way to replace it? I'll be doing it myself & I'm not that 'mechanically' minded. Thanks!

That's the turn signal. Sorry but I don't know about the risk if you just pull. You must have an oversized 1156 bulb. I've used 1156 there and it was the same size as the 7507 it replaced. BTW, if you put in an LED you'll also have to use load resistors or you'll get fast blinking (bulb out warning from the computer).

It is easy to replace. Use a small screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover (pry from one end) and the bulb just clips into holders at each end. It is a long bulb with contacts on each end.
