How many idiots does it take to screw in a light bulb?
LOL yeah this should probably be the easiest to fix/maintain. But I just changed my halogen bulbs, and I lost that clean line I had with the original bulbs. Did I install them wrong?
It is possible to put them in wrong. I believe what you refer to as a clean line is actually the cutoff that the light has to keep from blinding other drivers. I'd pull the bulbs & try doing it again. No matter what bulb you are running the cutoff should be there.
That's exactly what I mean; the cut off line. My previous halogens have a nice clean cutoff. The new ones seem to be hot spotted. Lol. I think maybe I installed them upside down.
The bulb has nothing to do with the cut-off unless it is a cheap one. The cut-off line is on the lens.
Correct.
If the bulb is not installed correctly it will not focus it's light in the right spot of the lens. That may be what is causing the OP to not have a cut-off line.
