Replacing 05+ tail lights with 02-04

I have an '06 R50, but I've always liked the look of the pre-facelift OEM tail lights.

What exactly is required to switch the factory '06 tail lights with the '02-04 models? I have a fog light installed in the '02-04 reverse light position, and I would like to still have fog light functionality with the pre-facelift taillights. How do I reroute the wires for the fog and reverse lights?

Thanks,
-b

The rear fog wire should run to the rear with the rest of the wiring bundle, should be easy enough to identify it. Then you'd need to add a length of wire (or simply clip the current fog and splice that into the reverse light.)

Not sure I've heard of anyone doing a 'reverse facelift', but it's just a matter of getting new tails (and the associated clipped wiring plug) and isolating the different wires.

I've got a set of 02-04 tail lights if you need a set.

You won't have any back up lights. The pre-05's have the back up light in the center of the bumper where you have your fog light.
