thanks for the feedback guys! The install doc is here. The web page with all the details is here. It goes by the fuse panel and hooks in with a fuse tap, Posi-Tap connectors, and a ground lug. Here's a photo of it installed.
Anyway, I'd like to thank Stig One for confirming that we got the DSC programming correct. The unit will work with DSC only, DSC/DTC and DSC/DTC/eDLC versions of the car. There are status LEDs that you can see with the fuse door off to see how the programming is going as well as what is set. When the fuse door is closed then there's no knowing it's there, other than you get the Sport mode, DSC and (for our EU buddies) the Start/Stop mode settings that you want when you start your car.
It also can let you add accessories that are controlled by two quick taps on the existing buttons in front of the shifter. We call this Stealth Mode Accessory Control (everything needs a fancy name).
Once we took over the Ian Cull's Auto-Up, we learned A LOT about these type of control modules. After surveying what was out there (like AmazingGrando's unit and the one from OutMotoring) we found that we could put a lot more power into a unit at a similar or lower price (helps to come from the semiconductor industry for stuff like this). So a big thank you to Ian Cull for getting us into this market.
Anyway, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!
Matt
ps, Way has some in stock as well. So if you're getting something from him you can add it to your order and save some money on shipping!
Could someone explain "Stealth Mode Accessory Control"? If I understand correctly, I can control an aftermarket accessory with one of the stock buttons by tapping it a certain way?

two quick taps on any of the buttons will trigger an output (on the second wiring header, it would connect to the unit via the header on the left in the picture in the post above). There are three channels on the device (cause there are up to three buttons in front of the shifter, depending on the model you have). We made the wiring for this detachable so you get a clean install of the circuit if you don't want to use it.
It's what's known as a "low side switch" meaning that it creates a path to ground when active. So you'd put 12 volts to your device, and the ground from your device would then hook up to one of the channels. Make it active and current can flow and the device turns on.
Cause it's a pretty small chip, it can't handle lots of current. For large current loads, you would use a realy. (Shameless plug: We make current modules as well that can handle plenty of current. One of our customers got a relay module to handle high current needed for hthe seat heaters in some Oakley seat covers!).
Anyway, you can add accessories to your car and not have to hack the dash or find some way to mount extra switches.
Dr. O's little autosport plus works great and very straightforward to install.
I always like it sporty and slightly stiffer steering. I definitely give it a big bump!
Things I learned installing fes AutoSport controller
Installed the fes AutoSport last night in 1 hr.
Here's the tips I have for anyone else doing it:
Don't worry about the 5 pin connector without the grounding lug_You don't need it now but save it if you want to control other accessories on startup later.
Remove the Brown wire from the power wire connector block in the US by pushing on the retaining slot with a small flatbalde screwdriver and pulling on the wire.
The footwell cover comes out with lots of force the first time_be patient and work with both hands_gloves allow you to use your fingers as screwdriver blades. Start at the fuse panel and work your way back to the rear of the car. Don't use the cover as too much leverage as you can bend it...The rear of the cover at the seatbelt/rear seat is trapped under the rear parcel bin and you'll need to flex this to get it out and back in. Pull up on the back seat to allow yourself to flex this bin out and get the footwell cover off.
When pulling the X14272 connector there are two raised edges/bars across the connector. Just below the bottom edge/bar is a 1/4 in wide tab_push on it with a small screwdriver and pull down on the lower edge/bar. Bam, the bar lowers and the connector is loose to be pulled_install is reverse.
When your connecting the Posi-Tap to the wires there are two YL wires in the bundle. Be sure to connect to the smaller YL wire. I guessed as the larger wire doesn't fit in the Posi-Tap.
X14272 wire color- AutoSport wire color
Yellow (DSC) = Yellow_Smaller of 2 YL wires.
Blue (Sport) = Orange
Black (Start/Stop) = Brown-Removed for use in US without Start/stop
Run the check and confrim the LEDS light in sequence and your ready to close it all back up. Mount the AutoSport circuit as high as possible to the fuse above it on the flat surface. There's a tab on the cover which will hit the power connector on the board if you mount it too low_ I did but the cover still snaps back on..
Finally, to pull the White trim connectors from the body using a viceGrip set to close just enought around the neck of the connector to pull it but not smash the connector. Watch to make sure the connectors go back into the holes as you reinstall. The ones around the fuse panel sometimes need a little help hitting the hole. It takes a good fist to get all of the connectors to seat again. You'll hear them pop in or feel the cover get very rigid when they're seated.
Remember to turn off the DSC disarm when you drive in rain or snow_the DSC reallu is designed for those days.
Sunny Skies and open roads.
The chart in the instructions is a bit unclear. I'm assuming the three suspension modes are:
off: DSC & eDLC on
mode1: DTC and eDLC on
mode2: eDLC only
DTC is designed for snow according to the owner's manual.

The unit doesn't do anything that the car doesn't do....
it just pushes the button sequences that you would have to do in your own car to get to the modes that your car supports.
FWIW, I have an 08 clubbie, no DTC or eDLC.....
And I've gotten several questions asking that if one adds this circuit, do cars that didn't come with DTC/eDLC start having them... The answer is no, the circuit just activates what features came in the car, but does it automatically.
Anyway, glad you all are happy, and thanks for your business!
FES shipped the 100th unit of this about a month ago.
