HELP! Small fire, now OBD port not working

Okay so following a wiring snafu, that actually started a small fire, my car seems to be working properly. That is to say, except for the clock and the Scan Gauge. I checked every fuse in the car; first with a fuse-checker then by pulling out, inspecting, and replacing each spade. They all seem to be in order, and there is no damage to the OBD port, wiring, or the cable-out to the SGII. I could care less about the clock, but the diagnostic port is important. I don't know how to determine if the port is bad or the SGII unit (which has no fuse to protect it), and I don't know what to do if the port was somehow fried. HELP!

Well the unit is hard mounted so it not that easy. I quickly disconnected the leads so I didn't need to use my extinguisher or anything.
