I've added a second "flat tire reset" push button switch opside the one installed in my 2006S. The switch just pops in after the small rectangular plastic cover is removed next to the parking brake. I took the cover off my garage remote and wired it the switch and 12 volt power available near the parking break lever. There is plenty of room to place the remote next to the brake lever. Be sure and tape the circuit board up to prevent shorts. It works great and the 12-14 volts hasen't damaged the 9v circuitry of the remote in over a year so far.
It sure is great to have the garage door opener remote hidden with only a switch visable.
The path that I followed for the garage door opener remote was to connect the remote to Ian's Auto Up circuit (now sold by FES) and I added a toggle switch to a blank spot in the center console toggle switch lin-up. I removed the opener remote cover and installed the opener remote circuit card on top of the Auto-Up circuit card behind the center console.
