No problem concerning the installation of brackets and light, no probleme to find and open the foot control panel, but the probleme is clear, when everything is ok, how can i do to put the wire from in to engine ?? The official notice just ask to put the wire through the rubber, but where is this rubber ?? Is anyone can ask me how to do because i dont whant to do something wrong for my mini !!

Thanks in advance for your precious help and again sorry for my english

Remove the battery cover in the engine compartment and the remove the battery. You will see a plastic cover over some wires going into the car. remove the cover and you will see the rubber gromit they are talking about. There is one small empty hose that you can cut the end off of and push the wire thru it and the use a tie wrap to seal the rubber tube to the wire.

here is a picutre of this rubber gromit, it show a lage bule wire that i aded for a stereo amp but the idea is the same for the small wire you will be using. the smaller tube is just to the left of the large blue wire where it goes thru the rubber gromit.

Oh really thanks, but last question, how to remove the batteri cover ? After removing the bolt, i can't remove the plastic protection because of the glass washer (i'm not sure that it's the good word sorry)

Thanks a lot for all

FYI...i don't see any effort to remove the battery cover, there are only 2 latches and just pop to release...no bolts, no screw, no nothing, just need to use finger... i run the power for the gauges. i don't even need to take out the battery in order to run the wire thru the rubber cover on the firewall.

the cover is located on right handside near the windshield....u must open the hood in order to see it....

hope this helps..

Hi, indeed it's ver easy to remove the battery cover and to access to the rubber cover. But to install driving light wire, i must open the left cover and here it's hard to do... But it's ok, i've do it, it was difficult because the cover was not open completly but now it's ok. Thankyou for all our information

did you wire to low beam or stick to the high beam configuration? local law in Hong kong does not restrict to use it under low beam, therefore, i want to have it with low beam on instead of high beam...seems no one answer my other thread for this......

:(

The rubber for driving lights it is in the driver side. Exactelly like the one in the photo but in the opoddite side.

Donuttang, to put with the low beam with the OEM wires, you have to find a diagram of the foot module to find wich is the cable of the lights.

If you will install the original lights, I don´t recommend you because are very high and will bother another drivers....
