key remote not working

I recently changed my battery in my car, and now both of my remotes don't work. Is it possible it could be a fuse or a relay issue? If I were to reset the computer and battery would I be able to initialize the remotes? I already replaced both keys with brand new batteries, so I have no idea what else it could be. My car is an 04 with a build date in 11/03. If anyone has any idea whats wrong, I would be forever grateful.
