Output voltage lead tps wire...

Does anyone know where (I assume there is one?) the output voltage lead is from the throttle position sensor?

I am in the process of building a intercooler co2/water sprayer and want it to come on at wot when armed.

Thanks all!

I can try and remember to look for you tommorow if I get a chance. but either way, I think you might want to rethink your trigger meathod. If you tap into the signal going to the TPS. your most likely going to throw a fault and check engine light. the car will then drop itself into limp. the MINI thorttle valve is a twin potentiometer circut, that uses two exact signals to send it's values. any deviation from one another, or to a strict guideline and a fault is stored.

you may be better off using pezioeltric switch.

FWIW, it's pin 10 on the ECU connector and pin 1 on the throttle connector - I don't know which wire color that is, though.

I used the 10 pin on the ECU. I just t-taped into it-all I needed to do was read it-not use it as a trigger. It reads a tad under 10 volts at WOT. No codes, no limp. Co2 sprayer works like magic! Thanks for the info!
