Retrofiting lighting package?

Hi,

I would be interested by retrofiting the lighting package in my '08 Cooper, I would add the light bulb under the dash(footlight) and under the door(puddle lights). Did you know if it's pre-wired?

Question, Where are you from that these were not installed from the factory.

As for the wiring i would suspect it is there as there is only a few main harnesses and i would not expect a change just for something as low on the scale as that.

So that is why.

At the bottom of the dash panel there shoudl be retangle opening about 2" long by 3/4" wide (don't know the metric equivalents). Just above both should be a small pair of wires that would plug into the socket.

As for the door puddle lights i am not sure if the door panels are already cut out or not. Check them from the bottom and see. if there is a cutout with a filler in it pull the filler out you should be able to find the wiring it would look very similar to the ones under thedash.
