Lambo MCS

I installed the lambo door, on my mini, pinched a wire and all hell broke loose... any electrical friendly people around chicagoland area interested in helping me extend the harness and redo the drivers door?

Maybe a Honda/Accura would make better choice for those type of customization fads.

I would love to help ya out, but I am too far away. It shouldnt be that difficult. Any chance you can find a new/used door harness from someone here in NAM parting out their MINI for track use ?

Can't wait to see some pics! And IMO, the lambo doors work well with almost any Model car with two doors.....German cars incl the MINI's doors are much heavier than the Japanese cars though arent they .

Different

Sorry about that, I guess very different strokes for for very different folks. Personally, I would be a little embarrassed in any car with "lambo doors" that were not oiginal, same goes for huge wings on cars.

but this shot's funny, dude.

OK--good luck with the wiring. I can't help either, but someone here surely will-- just hang tight.

Let's keep this on topic people, there's a thread debating Lambo doors elsewhere, he came here with a problem in his MINI, some people like chrome, some people like blacked out, some people like slammed, some people like luxury, some people like race car spartanism.

Are you extending the harness of the lambo door? Or is it a BMW harness that's got the issue? Where in the chicagoland area?

But, you'll want to use "you're" there.

An unfortunate mistake, in that particular allegation.

You're gonna catch a lot of flack for lambo doors here on NAM. There are way too many stuck up old guys floating around with a "Only the best as long as someone else has done it" attitude thrown in with a dash of eurosnobbery. So, there is a good chance you are the ground breaker.

You'll be better off if you just take the car to an electrical specialist. They are going to have all the tools & widgets to fix whatever may be going on.

Good luck & congrats on the mod. Post some pics!
