The7th Annual Iowa Fall MINI Cooper Drive will be held on Saturday, October 3. Enjoy lots of fun with your MINI and MINI friends, beginning at 9:00 AM in Grinnell. We’ll wind our way though the countryside with several stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the company of MINI friends. We’ll end up in Perry for dinner at the historic Hotel Pattee.
I’m going to try and make MINI buttons again this year. If you’d like a button with your MINI on it, please send me a picture. Generic MINI buttons will be available for those who aren’t able to send a picture.
The address for the meet-up location will be posted, soon.

I will try and make it.... not sure what is all going on that weekend...

Please send me a picture of your MINI if you'd like a personalized free button to help you remember all the fun on October 3, starting at 9 AM in Grinnell.
Grab your MINI caps and head on over to Grinnell on August 3 to celebrate 7 years of MINI motoring in Iowa! Greg, Judy, and Janis have designed a full day of MINI excitement for us to enjoy.
We’ll gather at the Saints Rest Coffee House (919 Broad St) in Grinnell from 9:00 – 10:00 to renew MINI friendships and develop new ones. We’ll also hear about a transportation museum that won’t quite be ready for us on the 3rd, but we’ll get the scoop on it for another time. We then head out to the pumpkin patch for some traditional pumpkin catapulting! Then we’re off to Marshalltown to enjoy the historic Maidrite and all it has to offer. All that fun, and it’s only lunchtime! Follow those MINIs to a brewery in Ames, than though the countryside to Ledges State Park for those prize winning photos! More fun as we head to Perry for a delicious dinner at the Hotel Pattee.
Those along I 80 passing thru the Iowa City area are welcome to join MINIs heading to Grinnell on October 3. We'll be at the Tiffin I-80 westbound rest area at Mile Post 237 just before 8 AM and will head out at 8:00. PM me for my cell number if you want to be in contract before we get to Grinnell.
It's an extra 40 miles on my morning route; nonetheless, I'll "take one for the team" and cheerfully join the 8 AM pre-meet up at the Tiffin rest stop. It'll be fun to caravan over to Grinnell with many of the EIM faithful.

Chalk another one up for the 8:00 am from the coralville/iowa city area!

Can a SotaMINIs person crash this shindig?? We were supposed to have our fall color tour that weekend, but it is looking like it may be in jeopardy, and my 10 year old daughter was SOOOOOO looking forward to a MINI driving weekend.
Is this a one day event... starts morning of Sat 10/3, winds up late afternoon/evening? I have friends down your way, in Calamus, IA... I could make this work...
Please join us. You won't be crashing because you're cordially invited!!
