Okay, high noon at the Blue Earth rest area it is.
I'll edit my earlier post (Post #41) that has all of the details to avoid any potential confusion. I'll also PM and email Atomic #47 so he's aware of the changes in the mix.

Rob I forgot about it till now but I still have a standing reservation at the Best Western I am not going to use in Hill City. If you would like I can transfer this to your name and just put down your credit card at check in if you wanted to be closer to the action.
Just let me know ASAP as I want to cancel about 1 week out.

I know it's still a long ways off, but if the long range weather forecast for the Black Hills area comes even CLOSE to verifying we will be a giddy bunch of motorers indeed.

Knock on wood!
The wx forecast is still holding for Hill City. (I need the emoticon with the praying hands)

Getting psyched!
I had the best Mother's Day yesterday. Spent the day at my son's where we got Gozer all spiffied up for the trip. Rotated tires (also washed and waxed them inside and out). Clay barred and waxed her. Love the Turtle Wax Ice! And the Black Wow? Excellent product. Can't wait to Motor On!!
^^ I have to mow the lawn tonight but tomorrow night is going to be heavy cleaning night. The interior needs some fierce vacuuming and all the black innards need to be shined up. Exterior will wait till we get there more than likely since 10hrs of a drive will leave the car in a not so favorable situation.

Very good little runs, a lot of motoring. Need to take some time today to look at some of these shops though!
A short little clip of some of the MINIs on the drive to Mt. Rushmore. I have another short clip too. Nothing to breath taking but still fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EXmZ9duP3g

Lisa and I are still motoring home as I type after stoping at Wall Drug and another bit of hiking around the badlands. We both had an awesome time and loved it all. Thanks for being such great motoring buddies. It was so much fun. look forward to seeing you all next weekend for some good grub.
I noticed that Tom and Linda were absent from the parking lot at 6 AM this morning...I'll just bet they went back down to Wind Cave to see the elk at sunrise. Will be anxious for a report.
I did the entire 9 hr trip back to Decorah with one 10-min stop for petrol, potty, and a snack just east of Sioux City, and was home by 4:45 CDT. Trailed a couple of St. Louie MINIs for a couple of hours. The bugs will just have to stay until tomorrow...
I'm with Rob...it was fun motoring with such a fantastic group of folks! I'm really happy I was able to be a part of it.
