Let's try something new --

The 2nd Annual EIM "Spring has Sprung" Meet-n-Eat is planned for the Granite City Restaurant in Cedar Rapids (4755 1st Ave SE; right across the street from the Lindale Mall) on Saturday, March 21st at 10:45 am. The plan is to be there when the restaurant opens at 11:00 to make sure we get a good table together.
We’ll plan to park together in the lot out behind and along the Marion Bypass so we can show our cars off properly to the locals and also look for some good MINI photo ops. Here's an aerial photo of the restaurant and the place in the parking lot where we'll congregate:
This was one of our bigger Meet-n-Eats last year so we hope to have a really good showing again. Of course, new folks are ALWAYS welcome!
Let's get the word out to all of those CR-IC area MINIs!! Let's see a big turnout!

It was sure great to see everyone at Granite City today! I hope the fantastic weather is a harbinger for good things at our future gatherings. It was great to meet you Lauri, and hope you'll join us again soon (and OBTW...Happy Birthday! ...and you too Pam!)
I trust everyone had fun with the quiz. Congrats to Bill on his valedictory achievement.
Here's a link to some photos from today's event. I'll try to get 'em posted on the website sometime in the next few days. Enjoy! http://www.flickr.com/photos/gmm57/s...7615733247576/
