Well if you were at the Swamp Fox parade and heard the many different things people came up with for Walts license plates you'd know Lisa was dead set on getting new plates.
Well new plates were ordered and hopefully they'll come sometime soon.
After we ordered the new plates Lisa was sitting in the lot waiting for me to come out afterwork and while waiting there a man walked up to her and asked..
"So is it you or your husband that likes trains?" And then attempted to give her a brochure about trains and a local train group apparently... sooo if the parade wasn't enough that little event certainly was.
In any case, I'll post some pictures when the new plates come in!
Looking forward to the unveiling of Walt's new tags.
For the non-Tolkien initiated, I occasionally hear "Shadow Fox" or "Shadow Effects" as the most common misinterpretations. I usually don't go out of my way to correct these folks figuring (1) their misinterpretations aren't all that unflattering; and (2) they may not know who Shadowfax actually is in the first place and it would make no sense to them.
"...indeed the love that the horses of the Rangers bore for their riders was so great that they were willing to face even the terror of the Door, if their masters' hearts were steady..." --- J.R.R. Tolkien
Yeah I will post pictures when the new tags are on. When I get home I'll also post pictures from Walts ride on the Dragon. I drove it down to the NC and Lisa drove it back what a windy road..actually made us both a bit nauseous but well worth the fun!
Ok, the plates came in early and they debuted at the fall drive.
Walt then went out on sunday and had himself a full shoot for the NAM Calendar. So here is his full shoot, I have a hand full or more photos picked out to upload for the calendar contest, as well as Im planning on submitting some from various group events.
