EIM at the Holy Cross Parade, BBQ, and Street Dance - Aug 9th
Calling all EIM MINIs to the Holy Cross Parade, BBQ, and Street Dance -- to be held in the beautiful, picturesque hamlet of Holy Cross, IA on Saturday, August 9th.
Thanks to the gracious invitation extended by 05MINI, everyone who would otherwise be lamenting that they couldn't make it out to MITM has another great local opportunity to get together, show off the MINIs, eat BBQ , and have fun! The line up for the parade is at 10:30 am and starts at high noon.
Oh, and for those coming up from the south, don't forget that you always have the option of getting to Holy Cross via that fantastic stretch of US-52 just west of Dubuque--no doubt some of the best scenery and finest twisties in the State!
Motor on, folks! ...and thanks to 05MINI for the hometown hospitality!

So, who's going to be joining 05MINI up in Holy Cross? She'd probably like to get an idea of the numbers, so please reply here or comment on our website when you know.
I'd be there in a heartbeat with bells on, but of course that's the weekend I'll be out representing EIM and motoring in the mountains with the MINI masses at MITM.

We do not have a car wash in Holy Cross so I am offering the use of a water hose at our business. The town of Holy Cross is on the North side of Hwy 52 and our business (Opening Specialists, Inc) is on the south side. Anyone is welcome to stop and freshen up their rides. I would offer my home hose but I live on the portion of Main Street that will be closed for the parade.
If everyone interested in being in the parade could be ready to line up at 10:30 we can be assured of being placed together in the parade. Let's plan to meet at 10:30 at my business. Come earlier to clean up your MINI as necessary. There will be a water hose available. Our business is located on the south side of Hwy 52(Opening Specialists, Inc), the town is on the north side of the Hwy. I will have my purple Baby parked near the Hwy hopefully by 10:00. The weather sounds great!
Actually, I think I convinced mom to accompany me to Madison! I haven't replied to that post yet because she doesn't know if she can get that day off from work. But as soon as we know I will mark us down as going

I know I am a little slow with this but I want to thank everyone who shared their MINIs in our parade. I heard a lot of favorable comments. Of course, who wouldn't love our cars!
