Commercials

Until yesterday I have never heard a MINI commercial on the radio in Iowa. yesterday on krna I heard 3 over the span of 2 hours.

What does this mean usually they dont market commercials unless there is a local dealer, could it be are they clamoring because there is a dealership looking at market research or just realizing that there is a pretty strong base in this area?

here is hoping for an Iowa dealership in the future!

Maybe MINI sales aren't as strong as the propaganda machine is telling us!

Just last weekend we heard a rumor that one is being built in Des Moines near the BMW dealership. According to the source it will be managed by VW (which I'm not sure I understand.) At any rate, I've not been over to that side of town for a bit but I'll ask my husband to swing by there this week and let everyone know.

P.S. Two-Mini households rock.

Motorwerks in Minneapolis would still be closer to me than either Des Moines or CR-IC, but I go south so often that I expect I'd have lots of opportunities to leverage a dealership...especially if they offered full-up maintenance services.

It would be quite cool if EIM had a dealership sponsor.

Last time I talked to someone at MINI about it they said it would probably be located in Eastern Iowa I believe more north to try and hit more states..So from what I can tell it may possibly be Dubuque, seems like an odd town I know but it makes sense to MINI as it brings in customers from Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin with one shot.

Interesting! Maybe they will take the dealership away from Omaha because of the bad service reviews and put one here!

See, I was really happy with the service and such in Omaha. They treated us really well - but then again, we were buying two new Minis at once so that might have something to do with it.
