Supercharger Eaton M45 Service and repair without a core fee.

With more MINI Cooper S owners keeping or buying high mileage R53’s the Eaton M45 Supercharger will need service sooner or later.

AutoXCooper has partnered with a proven Midwest Machine Shop with a long track record of supercharger service and able to meet our high standards.

If you have priced or had to replace your Supercharger you know the costs add up quickly.

We have found a better way to get you a “like New” supercharger without the high costs.

We can also rebuild the PTO, Cone and Coat the Rotors.

Since you won't be able to drive your MINI without the Supercharger we will have a completely rebuilt unit ready to ship out most of the time. That's right send us your SC and once we inspect and know we can use it to replace the unit in stock we'll ship out the replacement within 24 hrs. This reduces your downtime with a small investment in overnight shipping.

Email or call to check stock, pull yours this weekend, ship it Monday, we get it Tue/Wed, we inspect it, ship yours Tue/Wed/Thur, you have a bolt on ready SC on Friday.

What if you know your SC is not going to be a basic rebuild or you want “your” SC back. No worries we can still turn around most SC jobs in 5-7 days. We offer a Rescue & Repair Service for badly damaged superchargers. Note we can’t repair damaged body units. Just ship it into us we’ll inspect it and provide a full report with pictures of your SC and commit to a price to repair it.

All prices come with FREE Insured Shipping in the lower 48. All others please email full address for shipping rates. We only use the very best parts, seals and such on all rebuilds. Keep in mind it takes hours to remove and replace the MINI Cooper SC. If you’re paying $100 an hour in labor we encourage you to get the Full SC rebuild to ensure you only pay labor once.

Please email or post any questions below and if I don't know the answer will forward it to the Tech and post his reply. Please allow 24 hours for a reply. Thanks Dustin

Dustin,
Does the re-built supercharger come with the stock pulley installed? I have a reduction pulley installed. Is it possible to get a re-built unit without the pulley installed? Will the missing stock pulley on my core impact the core charges? Does the reduction pulley impact the re-build warranty?
Thanks,

None of my cores have the stock pulley. Once the stock pulley is removed it's useless. You can send your SC in without the aftermarket pulley or we'll move it to the rebuilt SC if we don't rebuild your SC. We can handle the pulley however you wish. The pulley doesn't change the rebuild warranty.

A great supercharger rebuilding service

Hey guys, its been a while since I posted, but I wanted to chime in about this service.

I took my car in for a rather noticeable rattle coming from the bonnet and discovered that my SC was the culprit. The shop quoted me something in the neighborhood of $2k for a new supercharger, but I didn't have the money to spend so started investigating other options. My search brought me to NAM, where I found this post, from mere days earlier. My other searches hadnt turned up anything particularly promising, so I decided to give Dustin at AutoXCooper a call and talk to him in person about the service.

After a 20 minute call I felt quite comfortable with both him and the service. He very competently and completely answered all the questions I threw at him. I decided to make the plunge, take the gamble, and send him my supercharger. Unfortunately, the USPS lost my supercharger for nearly a month (in NO WAY Dustin's fault)... but i was fortunate enough to have use of another car for the whole duration. Throughout the month i was in constant contact with Dustin about options we could pursue, shipping status, etc... He usually replied to my emails in no more than an hour or two, and was always available by phone if I needed even more immediate contact.

Well a few days ago I FINALLY got the supercharger back (again, i don't blame Dustin at all for the delay) and installed in the car. Any semblance of a rattle from the bonnet is now gone and, as far as I can tell, my car has a totally new supercharger installed. I feel confident revving my engine again, where before i cringed every time it went above 4k RPM.

I think AutoXCooper really offers a great service. From what i've read, its a question of when, not if, the supercharger will need rebuilding/replacing. Dealing with Dustin inspired complete confidence, and (if I still own the car) the next time I hear that rattle from the bonnet, I'd have no hesitation sending it back to Dustin for servicing again. He was very friendly, responded promptly, and extremely knoweldgable about MINIs and the service he was providing. So much so that I felt compelled to log back into NAM after years and post my positive experience.

If you've got supercharger issues or if you're considering replacing your "broken" supercharger, I would give Dustin a call first. He'll talk to you in a no-nonsense way about your options and his services. He's a really stand-up guy offering a great service.

How much did you spend all together bringing it to Dustin and then the labor of removing and re-installing your SC?

due to a toasted PTO gear and rotor coating his fee for our service was about $1000.00 out the door.

Also note that after the Post Office couldn't find his "package" for weeks the day after he filed a claim it showed up.

Dustin,

If you're still in this line of work, how about an '04 Works? Can you match it?

Charlie
