Borla Sport, Not Loud Enough...

After driving around the city with just the resonated Borla mid-pipe for close to 10 days I got a good feel for what loud really is. Exhaust mounts came in from the dealer today so I picked those up and installed the exhaust. I ended up not using the inner hangers as their simply overkill, I'll likely end up welding on the inner hangers when I replace the resonator with a straight pipe though.

Well, while I love the tone and throatiness of the Borla Sport, I find that it isn't loud enough. My options are either catless header or remove the resonator in the mid-pipe. While I would love to get a header I'm just not ready to spend upwards of $500 for one as thats just price-gauging. So, I'm leaning more towards replacing the 2.25" resonator with a 2.25" SS pipe to take its place. Any input from someone that has this done would be great.

BTW, Borla Sport is NOT loud, if you thinks its loud then your soft, lol... j/k j/k, but seriously...

I wonder if your Borla would be loud on my car. Ever since I added a big valve head, cam and header the car is crazy loud. I have had 5 different exhaust and now I have an Alta 3". The thing is beautiful but I may sell it. Maybe we should trade.

Keep the resenator and get a header.
My blumini has:
Borla Sport + Alta Header w/stainless cat + CAI + the "ALLAH HEAD" = STUPID LOUD
